# GLA Exchange - Platform Context for LLMs

GLA Exchange is an academic and community marketplace designed exclusively for students and faculty of GLA University, Mathura.

## Purpose
The platform facilitates the buying, selling, renting, and trading of items (such as books, electronics, lab equipment, and bicycles) within a trusted campus environment. It also incorporates a real-time Lost & Found system to help students recover missing belongings.

## Core Features
1. **Buy & Sell**: Students can list items they no longer need, reducing waste and providing affordable alternatives to peers.
2. **Rent**: Allows students to rent out items on a day-to-day basis, creating micro-economies within the college.
3. **Lost & Found**: A rapid response board to post missing items or found items.
4. **Verification**: Access to the platform requires authentication. Trust scores and verification badges ensure a secure ecosystem avoiding external scammers.
5. **Real-time Chat**: Secure, anonymous (up to a point) communication platform for buyers and sellers to negotiate.
